U.S. 2 accident victim remains hospitalized

GOLD BAR — A woman injured in a one-car wreck on U.S. 2 on March 5 was in serious condition Saturday night.
The Index woman, 52, was driving eastbound on U.S. 2 between Gold Bar and Skykomish when her Ford Taurus overcorrected and veered to the right. The car struck a guardrail and a power pole.
The woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where she was listed in serious condition late Saturday.
