Everett coach Craig Hartsburg did not announce who would start in goal in Tuesday’s Game 3 of Everett’s first-round playoff series against Kelowna. Thomas Heemskerk and Kent Simpson were equally impressive while splitting time during the regular season. Then the pair split duties again in the first two games of the series, with Heemskerk playing in Everett’s 5-4 overtime victory in Game 1, and Simpson playing in Everett’s 5-2 victory in Game 2.

Hartsburg said he will continue to handle the goaltending situation the way he hid during the regular season, and both Heemskerk and Simpson have proven themselves worthy. So:
