This week’s featured new construction is a three-bedroom, two-bath custom rambler located near downtown Arlington. The home includes a two-car garage, home office, great-room and bonus room.

A bedroom suite is located at one end of the house, with the two remaining bedrooms positioned on the opposite wing. A full bathroom and a laundry room complete the floor plan.

The entry area has wood-tone laminate flooring that extends throughout much of the house. Frieze carpeting with upgraded pad and vinyl flooring cover the remainder.

A small alcove is to the entry’s immediate right. A countertop and drawers make this is a functional computer workstation. The area also has Category V high-tech cabling and a window that overlooks the front.

Straight ahead from the entry, the great-room has a soaring vaulted ceiling and a sliding glass door that opens to an exposed-aggregate, partially covered patio.

The kitchen includes custom Shaker-style alder cabinets, a breakfast bar, walk-in pantry with frosted/etched door, and a corner La-Z-Susan.

Steps away, three angled walls frame the dining area.

Also located just off the kitchen is the bonus room, which is part of the main living area.

The bedroom-suite wing includes the convenient laundry room and an access door to the two-car garage, which is enclosed by a single paneled door with electric opener. The laundry room has built-in overhead cabinets and vinyl flooring.

Features of the suite include a spacious sleeping area with vaulted ceiling and paddlefan light fixture. The suite’s bathroom includes a double vanity with two movable beveled mirrors. Two separate walk-in closets are positioned inside the bathroom, flanking a soaker tub.

At the opposite side of the home, the two additional bedrooms are generously proportioned and include phone/cable jacks, a frosted light fixture, and paneled sliding doors enclosing standard closets.
