Fire Sirens

Here’s are some of 911 calls on the busiest day last week.

06:28: Vehicle fire just north of county line at Northeast 205th Street. Extinguished upon arrival.

10:12: 40-year-old female complaining of abdominal pain and vomiting.

14:02: 15-year-old female skateboard crash, no helmet. Possible head injury.

15:06: 77-year-old female says she is weak, dizzy and has just had major surgery.

16:35: Large brush fire reported at Richmond Beach at Saltwater Park. Flames and smoke visible. Fire crews spend over four hours at the scene, with the help of Edmonds Fire. Extensive damage. Investigators now say arson is involved. Signs are posted at the scene. Anyone with information should call 911 or the King County Fire Investigation Unit.

17:47: Woman walks into Station 63 with cardiac symptoms, transported to Northwest Hospital.

18:13: Patient walks in to Station 65 with chest pain.

11:35: Day’s second brush fire. Extinguished in minutes.

Note: Coming to the fire station with symptoms is rarely a good idea. If you need medical assistance, call 911 and have our crews respond to where you are. We often are not at the station, and that can delay crucial medical care. On this day, two people came to the station with serious conditions that could have turned worse en route.
