Prep girls soccer: Granite Falls 2, Blaine 0

GRANITE FALLS — Katie Cashman scored two unassisted goals to help Granite Falls (1-1) post a non-conference win. Cashman scored in the 37th minute, using a long run through defense and made a shot from 12 yards out on the left hand side at the front post to beat the Blaine (0-2) keeper. In the 50th minute, Cashman scored the Tigers’ second goal. Goalkeeper Kelsey Carlson recorded the shutout for Granite Falls.
