Notes: Seattle starts the season short-handed as defenseman Scott Ramsay is out with a concussion picked up while at rookie camp with the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks, and forwards Brandon Troock and Tyler Alos are out with illnesses. Therefore, defenseman Ryan Aasman skates as a forward, and one of Austin Baecker and Austin Frank will be scratched. Recently-acquired overagers Travis Toomey and Travis Bobbee make their T-birds debuts tonight.
