Everett Planning Commission, 6:30 tonight, fourth floor, Everett Station, 3201 Smith St., Everett. A public hearing is planned on a proposal to convert the 117-acre CEMEX sand and gravel operation to mixed-use residential, commercial and office.

Gold Bar City Council, 7 tonight, City Hall, 107 Fifth St. The council will hold a public hearing to gather input on the proposed Comprehensive Plan Adjustment.

Monroe City Council, 7 tonight, City Hall, 806 W. Main St. The council will take up a resolution to initiate annexation of Chain Lake West and may approve annexing Chain Lake Central.

Snohomish City Council, 7 tonight, School Administration Center, George Gilbertson Boardroom, 1601 Ave. D. The council plans to discuss the city bikeway plan.
