Reader poll: third-period losses

The past two games haven’t exactly gone the way the Tips would have scripted. Everett led Portland 3-2 going into the third period last Wednesday, and the Tips led Kelowna 3-0 going into the third Sunday. Then Everett was outscored 3-0 in the third period in both games, losing 5-3 to Portland and 4-3 in a shootout to Kelowna. These were Everett’s first two defeats of the season and the Tips are still 4-1-0-1, though all six of those games came at home.
