Natalie MacMaster grew up listening to Whitney Houston, AC/DC, Michael Jackson and other pop favorites. But be warned: Just because she liked pop doesn’t mean she followed in their footsteps. Don’t expect the celebrated fiddler to break out in a cover of “Thriller.”
She’s deeply rooted in Celtic music and is a world-renowned violin master. She plays with her husband and fellow string phenomenon, Donnell Leahy.
Together they are a whirlwind of fiddle-driven music, dance and song. Their performances are at times foot-tapping, other times woefully sad as they play heart-wrenching ballads.

Marcus Mumford, Country Winston, Ben Lovett and Ted Dwane are fast friends from West London. Together, they make up Mumford &Sons, the latest British invasion and possibly some of the most energetic sounds since another quartet of Brits from Liverpool made their way across the big pond for an appearance on the Ed Sullivan show.
OK. It’s too early to say they’re the new Beatles, but they’re good and they’re selling out venues all over the country.
The music is gutsy and has the sound of old-time rock ‘n’ roll. Their sound is a bit like a blend of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young mixed up with the might of the Kings of Leon. Appearing with Mt. Desolation &King Charles.
