LAKEWOOD — Offensively, Lakewood quarterback Justin Lane totalled 240 all-purpose yards. Safety Alex Keen provided some fireworks defensively by blocking a potential game-tying point-after-attempt and intercepting a pass on Cedarcrest’s initial drive of the second half. Lakewood clinched a 2A District 1 playoff berth with the victory. Lane threw a 50-yard touchdown to Brandon Stott on a fake punt to take a 14-0 lead. Justin Peterson recovered a Cedarcrest fumble — one of six Cedarcrest turnovers — and ran 61 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter to take a 28-13 lead. Lakewood totalled 322 total yards and held Cedarcrest to 80 yards offense in the second half.
