Officers in local police departments assisted Seattle police Nov. 6, the day of slain Seattle officer Timothy Brenton’s memorial service. Some officers helped cover shifts while Seattle officers attended the memorial service at Key Arena while others directed traffic.
The suspect in Brenton’s murder, Christopher John Monfort, was shot by police in Tukwila on Friday afternoon as Brenton’s memorial service was ending. Monfort is in serious condition at Harborview.

THEFT. 900 block Carol Way. Medication was stolen from a front porch after it was delivered by UPS.

ANIMAL. 15800 block 75th Place W. A Pomeranian mix dog attacked a leashed dog.
BURGLARY. 8600 block 204th St. SW. Someone stole several guns from a safe in the victim’s residence.
THEFT. 7600 block 212th St. SW. A student’s flute was stolen while she waited for her parent to pick her up.
TRESPASS. 1000 block C Ave. A father reported an unwanted person in his son’s room.

NARCOTICS. 8000 block 238th St. SW. A man was arrested for dealing drugs in the parking lot of 7-11.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 8400 block 240th St. SW. Someone placed glue in the victim’s dead bolt lock.

ASSAULT. 22600 block 93rd Place W. A juvenile assaulted his two adult brothers and then fled the residence.

VEHICLE PROWL/THEFT. 3800 block 232nd St. SW. A 46-year-old Brier man reported someone entered his unlocked Ford Explorer and removed a GPS unit.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 3300 block 238th St. SW. A Brier woman reported someone shot something through her residence window. Area checked with negative results.

THEFT. 18400 block Alderwood Mall Parkway. A 27-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting, DWLS and outstanding warrants. A 19-year-old man was also arrested for shoplifting.

ANIMAL. 5600 block 176th St. SW. A 34-year-old man was issued an infraction for pet running at large.
THEFT. 3700 block 188th St. SW. A sports bag and assorted personal items were taken from a vehicle.
Nov. 4
THEFT. 2600 block 196th St. SW. A backpack, wallet, books, calculator, money and drivers license were stolen from a vehicle.

HUMANE. 23000 block 32nd Ave. W. A 43-year-old Brier woman reported someone killed her cat with a BB gun. She suspects a neighbor due to ongoing issues.
DISTURBANCE. 5700 block 168th St. SW. Four juveniles arrested on riot charges.

HIT AND RUN. 22000 block 66th Ave. W. Surveillance cameras at the Crazy Moose Casino showed an Edmonds man hitting a Toyota Camry with his Ford van and leaving the scene.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. 21000 block 51st Ave. W. A boyfriend allegedly hit his girlfriend in the mouth, and threw her around. She dialed 911 after locking herself in the bathroom. After boyfriend was arrested, the girlfriend accused officers of not being legitimate policemen. She smelled of alcohol.

DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. 5100 block 225th Pl. SW. A caller reported four males were sitting in a car and appeared to be smoking marijuana. The officer asked the occupants to get out of the vehicle, which smelled of marijuana. The officer arrested the car’s owner after finding a pipe with drug residue in the car.
INFO. 4200 block 216th St. SW. When officers arrived at a house party, 30 juveniles ran off. Officers observed the homeowner allowing her son and his friends to drink beer and do drugs. The mother became agitated and screamed at the officers and shoved them. She appeared drunk.

HIT AND RUN. 1900 block 132nd St. An Everett man reported a vehicle collided with his vehicle, then fled the scene.

THEFT. 15200 block Main St. An MP3 player and other items were stolen from a vehicle.
THEFT. 1700 block 132nd St. A cell phone was stolen from a purse.

THEFT. 1700 block 132nd St. A purse containing several credit cards was stolen from a vehicle.

MEDICAL TRANSPORT. 700 block Center Road. A pedestrian, hit by a car, was transported by medic unit to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

MEDICAL TRANSPORT. 6600 block 235th St. SW. Firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after a car crashed into a parked car.

CAR FIRE. 140th Street SW and Beverly Park Road. Firefighters responded to a car fire.

ACCIDENT. 3800 block 206th Place SW. Firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a collision involving a car and a large truck.
