This week’s featured new construction is a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath rambler with three-car garage, built by J&D Builders and located in the gated Wardrum Woods development in rural Snohomish.

Vitals include a propane forced air furnace, septic system and PUD water.

Entrance is gained through a door with leaded and etched glass inset window to a small landing with custom ceramic tile. Formal living and dining rooms are combined to create a great-room. The living room has a high vaulted ceiling and an extended wood-wrapped bay window with overlooking the large front yard.

A plant shelf extends across an interior wall, with an arch framing entry into the dining room, which is completed with frieze carpeting and a wood-wrapped window framing the private back yard.

The nearby kitchen has oak flooring, slab granite countertops with a ceramic tile backsplash, Shaker-style wood cabinets with crown molding and plant shelves, and stainless steel appliances. Other features include an extended breakfast bar, a skylight, recessed lighting and a pantry closet.

An oversized family room completes the main living area. It has a corner gas fireplace trimmed with ceramic tile, and a sliding glass door that opens to an exposed aggregate patio overlooking the back yard.

A smaller fourth bedroom or home office faces the front of the home and includes a paneled door enclosing a standard closet. A short corridor with laundry room on the right leads to the offset, three-car garage.

The bedroom wing consists of two larger bedrooms, a full bathroom and a bedroom suite with expansive sleeping area, walk-in wardrobe closet and five-piece bathroom.

Both bedrooms face the front of the home and include paneled sliders enclosing standard closets.

The full bathroom is completed with vinyl flooring, a single vanity topped with ceramic tile, and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.

A paneled French door opens to the bedroom suite, where a large picture window overlooks the back yard. Features of the suite’s bathroom include vinyl flooring, a double vanity with tile top, soaker tub encased in a tile surround beneath a large window, and a freestanding walk-in shower with fiberglass shell, stationary and flexible spray nozzles, and glass enclosure.
