Reader poll: Brayden Schenn?

After hedging for months, the Los Angeles Kings finally reassigned 19-year-old center Brayden Schenn back to the Brandon Wheat Kings over the weekend. Schenn is expected to be available when the Silvertips play the Wheat Kings in Brandon on Wednesday.
Unless something happens beforehand. Schenn, who may be the best player in the league, is rumored to be available. Brandon, coming off a season in which it loaded up for hosting the Memorial Cup, is in the midst of its second long losing streak of the season and is in serious danger of missing the playoffs. Schenn could change that, but would it be enough to offset the possible windfall from a trade? Alan Caldwell estimates Schenn’s trade value at being the equivalent of a first-round and a second-round bantam draft pick.
Meanwhile, Everett made several deals with an eye toward contending this season, but the Tips have been merely treading water so far. Adding a player like Schenn would deplete Everett’s prospect/draft pick pool even further, but he’s undoubtedly give the team a spark.
Which brings us to this week’s poll question. Feel free to explain your thinking in the comments section.
