Notes: Everett, playing its first home game in two weeks, is short up front, with wingers Kellan Tochkin (concussion), Josh Winquist (concussion) and Campbell Elynuik (shoulder) all out injured. That means 16-year-old call-up winger Jordyn Boyd makes his WHL debut. Defenseman Ryan Murray, cut this morning from Canada’s team for World Juniors, made the long journey back from Toronto and is in the lineup tonight. Kent Simpson is back in goal after Luke Siemens received four of the six starts during Everett’s road trip through the East Division.

Notes: Vancouver has been bitten by the injury bug, with six of tonight’s seven scratches out injured. The latest victim is stalwart defenseman David Musil, who’s out with a bone bruise on his shin. Winger Brendan Gallagher is back after being cut from Canada’s team for World Juniors.
