Published 6:22 pm Saturday, January 1, 2011

EVERETT

Forward lines:
Winquist-Ferraro-Tochkin
MacDonald-Cumiskey-Fowlie
Stanfield-Hayer-Birkholz
Chynoweth-McCrea

Defensive pairings:
Theriau-Murray
Morden-Yadlowski
Minville-Friesen

Starting goalie:
Simpson

Scratches: Walters, Giebel, Rissanen, Maxwell, Elynuik, Erricson, Suer.

Notes: The biggest news is that leading scorer Tyler Maxwell is out sick. Also, center Tyler Giebel is scratched for unknown reasons. That means 15-year-old center Ryan Chynoweth makes his WHL debut tonight. With defensemen Chad Suer (broken jaw), Rasmus Rissanen (World Juniors) and Nick Walters (U-17s) and wingers Campbell Elynuik (shoulder) and Jari Erricson (U-17s) still unavailable, the Tips dress just 19.

TRI-CITY

Forward lines:
Hughesman-Shinnimin-Wilgosh
Macek-Reddick-J.Messier
Prokop-Feser-Holland
Moline-Conrad-Rankin

Defensive pairings:
Sutherland-Humphries
Schmidt-Yuen
Grist-Sohor

Starting goalie:
Owsley

Scratches: Dow, Ashton, M.Messier, Dreidger.

Notes: The Americans are missing right wing Carter Ashton (World Juniors) and goaltender Chris Dreidger (U-17s) to international duty. Otherwise Tri-City is fully healthy.
