The Seahawks announced this afternoon that wide receiver Ben Obomanu has signed a three-year extension with the team.

Obomanu, selected by Seattle in the seventh round of the 2006 draft, enjoyed a breakout season in 2010, moving into the starting lineup midway through the season and established career-highs with 30 catches for 494 yards and four scores.

Obomanu’s yardage total is second on the team to Mike Williams, and he’s tied for the team lead with four receiving touchdowns.
