BELLEVUE — Newport, of the KingCo 4A conference, jumped out to a nine-point first-quarter lead and won the nonconference game. Cole Wiper scored 17 points, Jake Fink had 13 and Alex Claypool scored 10 for Newport. Nicholas Kussman led Kamiak with 12 points.
