Best of the West poll

The Tri-City Herald’s annual Best of the West poll is out. Every year the newspaper sends several ballots to each of the Western Conference’s 10 teams, and the teams vote on various categories. It’s always inte

resting to see what the players/coaches/GMs/broadcasters think about their competition.

Everett didn’t get a whole lot of love this year. The Tips took their customary place atop the Best Fans category. But beyond that there was just a sprinkling of Clayton Cumiskey, Ryan Murray and Kent Simpson lower down on the lists. Spokane’s Tyler Johnson is all over the place, winning four categories.

And with the release of the Best of the West poll, that means this will be Best of the Tips week on the blog. Start checking in Monday as I’ll list a handful of poll questions each day this week for you to vote on.
