Best of the Tips: Day 1

Welcome to the third annual Best of the Tips poll (at least I think this is the third year, please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong). Each year after the Tri-City Herald’s Best of the West poll is released, I spend the following week giving Everett fans the chance to vote on the Tips in a simila

r way the players/coaches/GMs/broadcasters vote on the Western Conference.

Here’s how it works. Each day Monday through Thursday I’ll post four or five categories for you to vote on. I’ve narrowed the field down in each category to a handful of options, but if your choice isn’t listed you can vote for “Other.” If you vote for “Other,” please list your write-in vote in the comments section. I’ll provide my vote in the comments section as well. Make sure you get your votes in early, however, as each poll will only be open for about 24 hours until the next set is posted. On Friday I’ll tabulate the final results.

As for the categories, I’m using the applicable categories from the Best of the West poll (no need for Best Referee, for example), with a few additions as I’ve added a couple categories that I think are missing from the Best of the West poll.
