Bothell man struck by car in crosswalk

BOTHELL — A Bothell man was struck by a car Wednesday morning. He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

The man, 28, was in a crosswalk in the 20200 block of the Bothell-Everett Highway in Bothell, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A Texas man, 34, was turning left onto the highway in a Honda Accord and struck the Bothell man. The crash was reported just before 9:30 a.m.

The driver was later cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian, officials said. The infraction carries a $175 ticket.
