EVERETT
Forward lines:
Harrison-Ferraro-Maxwell
Stanfield-Cumiskey-MacDonald
Erricson-Birkholz-Fowlie
Winquist-Hayer-Giebel
Defensive pairings:
Murray-Yadlowski
Morden-Rissanen
Friesen-Suer
Starting goalie:
Siemens
Scratches: Walters, Elynuik, McCrea, Simpson.
Notes: Everett continues to be without No. 1 goaltender Kent Simpson because of a sprained ankle. The Tips welcome defenseman Kieran Friesen, who hadn’t played since recovering from a shoulder injury, back to the lineup, as well as forward Tyler Giebel, who’s been a healthy scratch. There’s some minor tweaking to the lines, with Landon Ferraro switching back to center and Parker Stanfield lining up alongside Clayton Cumiskey and Scott MacDonald.
PORTLAND
Forward lines:
Boychuk-Peters-Jordan
Ross-Johansen-Niederreiter
Rattie-Cunningham-Bartschi
Trott/Hanson-Leipsic-Swenson
Defensive pairings:
Morrow-Rutkowski
Wotherspoon-Pouliot
Aronson-Wrenn
Starting goalie:
Hamilton
Scratches: Ponich, Gabriel, Bennefield, Carruth, Hanson/Trott.
Notes: Portland welcomes back a pair of forwards as wingers Ty Rattie (shoulder) and Riley Boychuk (concussion) return following short absences. Defenseman Brett Ponich (knee) and winger Oliver Gabriel (shoulder) remain long-term casualties. Goaltender Mac Carruth (leg) is close to returning but still out, so Ross Baadsvik serves as the emergency back-up.
