EVERETT — Mariner battled the sloppy conditions to eek out a nonleague victory in the opener for both teams. Christian Rodriguez knocked in a rebound off the Lynnwood defense in the 36th minute for the game’s only score. Ulises Hernandez recorded the clean sheet for the Marauders. Lynnwood’s Jose Del Rio played all 80 minutes in goal.
