BOTHELL — Monroe (1-1 overall) was led by the hitting of Miles Kendrick, who batted 2-for-3 with two singles. Lynnwood’s (0-2) Colin Samuelson and Jordan Silva were both 1-for-3, each with a double. Aaron Hatch pitched five innings with five strikeouts for Monroe, walking only one batter.
