EVERETT — Mountlake Terrace (1-1 overall) scored 11 in the first inning to jump out to an early lead over Mariner (0-4), following it up with a three-run second inning. Terrace’s Mindy James batted 2-for-5 and Melynda Ward was 3-for-4. Mariner managed to get only one hit for the game, and finished with five errors.
