MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Alex Hatch pitched five innings to lead Mountlake Terrace to a nonconference victory. Hatch allowed just two runs on three hits while striking out 11. Keegan Volpone batted 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and three runs scored to lead the Hawks. Jordan Richartz drove home both Mercer Island runs and finished the game 2-for-3 with a double and a home run.
