LAKE STEVENS — After surrendering a 2-0 advantage, Jackson (8-0 league, 9-0 overall) barely escaped a shootout with a game-winner that came with two minutes to go in overtime. Jackson’s Guy Shively slipped a pair of unassisted goals past Lake Stevens goalie Michael Pierce in the 30th and 38th minute to give the Timberwolves a 2-0 advantage at the half. Kyle Lawson got the Vikings (4-4, 4-5) on the board in the 47th minute thanks to an assist from Micheal Berg. Tanner Sellers tied the score in the 78th minute, shooting a penalty kick by Jackson keeper Armando Huerta.
