Prep baseball: Granite Falls 13-11, Coupeville 3-3

COUPEVILLE — Behind a strong offense, Granite Falls won both games of the Cascade Conference doubleheader. In the first game, Kyle Glover hit a three-run triple in the fifth inning for the Tigers. Colton Patterson added three hits, including a double, and Mitch Byron went 2-for-3 with a double and four RBI. Ian Smith had two hits and an RBI for Coupeville.

In the second game, Byron went 3-for-4 with two doubles and five RBI to pace Granite Falls. Patterson and Glover each added a triple for the Tigers. Starting pitcher Alex McClain had two hits for Coupeville.
