Ehlo joins Eastern Washington basketball staff

CHENEY — New Eastern Washington basketball coach Jim Hayford has hired three assistant coaches, including former NBA player Craig Ehlo.
Craig Fortier and Shantay Legans will fill out the staff of the Cheney program.
Fortier spent the past four seasons as Hayford’s assistant at Whitworth in Spokane. Legans is a holdover from the staff of Kirk Earlywine.
Ehlo played college basketball at Washington State and then spent 14 years in the NBA. He now lives in Spokane where he broadcasts basketball games and spent three seasons as a high school coach. This is his first college coaching job.
