Prep boys soccer: King’s 8, Nooksack Valley 0

SHORELINE — Trevor Bartels and Ryan Gamache each scored two goals to lead King’s (15-2 overall) into the 1A Tri-District playoffs. Bartels opened the scoring in the second minute for the Knights and then added another in the 15th minute, meanwhile Gamache scored his pair in the 20th and 36th minutes. Also scoring for King’s were Joe Warren (25th minute) on a penalty kick, Isaac Trosvig (33rd minute), Alex Guhlke (35th minute) and Drew Corwin (77th minute). Keepers Matt Matysik and Logan Griffis each held Nocksack Valley scoreless for a half for the Knights.
