Missing Bothell-area man found dead in King County park

SEATTLE — The search for a missing Bothell-area man ended Thursday when a body was discovered in a King County park.
Jeffrey A. Johnson, 59, reportedly left his home early Friday morning to drive to work in Seattle, but never arrived, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Johnson’s wife reported him missing later that morning.
Johnson’s white Dodge Dakota pickup was found Sunday at Carkeek Park in Seattle. The body was found Thursday. Formal identification is pending.
Dozens of volunteers helped in the search.
Seattle police told KIRO-TV the manner of death was not considered suspicious.
Autopsy results are pending.
