SNOHOMISH — Ruby Mensing had 12 kills, eight digs and one service ace for Glacier Peak (1-0 overall) in its 16-25, 25-23, 25-29, 18-25, 15-13 nonleague win. Also for the Grizzlies, Mandy Burgess had 32 assists and three aces, Taylor Rasmussen had 16 digs and Miranda Farrell had eight kills. Kendall Swanson had 14 kills for Lake Stevens (0-1) and the Vikings’ Blake Lamberty had eight service aces and 34 assists.
