I’m mad as hell and … hey, look a kitteh: Facebook apparently upset a significant portion of its 750 million users Wednesday with changes it made to the way friends’ posts appear on users’ homepages.
But the protests faded after about 15 minutes once the 750 million settled into a contented stupor and returned to watching videos of cats, posting photos of what they ate that afternoon and playing FarmVille.

Oh no, I’ve said too much: Alternative rock group R.E.M. announced that after more than 30 years of playing together and scoring a number of hits during the ’90s, including “Losing My Religion” and “Everybody Hurts,” the remaining three members will go their separate ways.
Lead singer Michael Stipe said the decision was made easier after this year’s Grammy Awards,when the band was included in the “In Memorium” video.

Where does Richie Rich fall on the list? Forbes released its list of the 400 richest Americans, er, 400 most job-creating Americans, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates again tops the list with a total wealth of $59 billion.
Warren Buffett, who wrote a recent opinion piece in the New York Times calling for a higher tax on the wealthy, was bounced from the list by Forbes as a matter of principal for betraying his peers.
