Prep volleyball: Lakewood 3, Cedarcrest 1

DUVALL — Brittany Parmentier and Kaylee Diggs controlled the net in helping Lakewood prevail in a Cascade Conference contest against Cedarcrest (3-5 league, 3-5 overall) in four sets by scores of 25-17, 25-19, 22-25 and 25-17. Parmentier had 15 kills and four blocks and Diggs added 13 kills, 10 digs and three aces for the Cougars (4-4, 4-4). Katie Byrum had seven kills for Cedarcrest.
