Prep volleyball: Coupeville 3, Granite Falls 1

GRANITE FALLS — Katie Smith totaled 10 kills and 14 digs to lead Coupeville (5-7 league, 6-7 overall) to the Cascade Conference win. Taya Boonstra added 26 assists and Chelsea Hudging had 15 digs, as Coupeville took the first set 25-23, the third 25-10 and the fourth and final set 25-18. Granite Falls (3-9, 3-10) won the third set 25-10 and was led by Peyton Spencer’s 12 digs and eight kills. Elizabeth Matalomani added nine blocks for the Tigers.
