Cause sought for car fire in Everett

EVERETT — Fire caused extensive damage early Friday morning to a car parked in front of a home near 41st Street and Grand Avenue, officials said.
The Everett Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire. It appeared to start in the car’s interior, fire marshal Rick Robinson said.
The fire was reported shortly before 1:30 a.m. and extinguished within 10 minutes.
The car was an older model Lincoln Navigator, Robinson said.
