Plants of merit: Dolly’s Choice mugo pine

WHAT: Dolly’s Choice mugo pine is an evergreen tree that is often grown as a shrub. It is a good candidate for a small garden or for growing in a pot because of its relatively small size and narrow growth habit. It adds vertical as well as evergreen interest to the garden.

SUN OR SHADE: It does well in full sun or part shade.

SIZE: It reaches about 12 feet tall and 5 feet wide.
