UR a liar
A new study says that people are more likely to lie via text than in face-to-face communications.
Apparently it’s hard to tell the truth when you’re typing with your thumbs while negotiating cross-town traffic.
Point and laugh: A jogger who suffered a broken back when he was hit by a truck wants an apology from a Seattle police officer who allegedly ridiculed him as he lay injured on the street. The man also claims the officer criticized him for running to work rather than driving.
If true, that’s unprofessional behavior on the officer’s part, but the jogger should remember the old schoolyard saying: “Saps and control batons may break my bones, but names can never hurt me.”
Mourning in North Korea: The son of Kim Jong Il on Tuesday made his first public appearance since the North Korean dictator’s death, bowing before a terrarium-like glass coffin containing his father’s body.
Meanwhile, the North Korean propaganda ministry began building a cult of personality around Kim Jong Un, calling him a “great successor” to his father — which presumably means the young man can already hold his cognac.
