LAKE STEVENS — Devin Stoen scored eight of his 16 points in the fourth quarter and Dakota Tomson hit a pivotal 3-pointer with the scored tied with 1 minute, 40 seconds remaining in the game as the Vikings won the nonconference tilt.
Lake Stevens went scoreless on 12 straight trips down the court to end the third quarter as Evergreen outscored the Vikings 22-8 to take a 42-39 lead entering the final quarter. But led by Stoen, Lake Stevens battled back finally grabbed the lead back for good on Tomson’s 3-pointer. Tomson finisehd with 12 points.
Brady Pahukoa scored eight points and had a game-high 16 rebounds for Lake Stevens.
