ARLINGTON — In a 182 pound match, Chris Herbert pinned Cody Weldon in under 30 seconds as Marysville Pilchuck edged Arlington 39-36 in a Wesco North wrestling match. The Tomahawks finished with six pins to Arlington’s five which proved to be the difference in the opening league match for each squad. The Eagles Blake McPherson who wrestles at 220 pounds, pinned Iggy Gabov in just 26 seconds. The Tomahawks did well in the lower weight classes, winning five of seven in the 152 and under classes. One of the more impressive wins came from Ryan Daurie of Marysville Pilchuck who pinned his opponent Skyler Wren in 1:08.
