Boys hoops state poll: Who’s doing the most damage?

The Herald has had the privilege of covering some pretty great boys basketball teams this past winter season, including a few that have been ranked in the top five of the state rankings.

But now it’s come down to crunch time and we’re wondering which of those teams has a real chance to make it to the championship game … or, dare we say, win it all. Will the Mountlake Terrace boys, once ranked No. 2 in the state, beat some of the state’s best teams in Kamiakin, Seattle Prep and Rainier Beach en route to a its first title since 1979? Can Jackson overcome the loss of Brett Kingma and lean on his brother Dan and Jason Todd for a championship run? What about Snohomish? The Panthers have Luke Hamlin and a solid cast of role players. Can they win it all?
