Marysville nursery to host berry day for kids

Those at The Plant Farm nursery in Marysville know berry season is one that little gardeners really enjoy.

So why not make them a part of the berry experience, beyond just the eating part?

The Plant Farm is hosting a special seminar geared to young gardeners called “Berry Good Berries.”

At this Kids’ Club event, those attending will review all the delicious berries native to the Northwest. Each little gardener will also plant a strawberry plant to take home and watch grow.

Kids’ Club “Berry Good Berries” starts at 11 a.m. March 10 at The Plant Farm, 15022 Twin Lakes Ave., Marysville. Registration is required. Call 360-652-3351 or online at www.ThePlantFarm.com/kidsclub.htm. Cost is $5 per child.
