2 injured in two-car crash near Monroe

MONROE — Two people were hospitalized Friday after a wreck east of Monroe.
Police believe a pickup driven by a 17-year-old boy collided with a box van driven by a man in his early 60s, Snohomish County sheriff’s bureau chief Kevin Prentiss said.
The accident was reported about 4 p.m. in the 25600 block of Florence Acres Road.
The conditions of those injured weren’t available Friday evening.
The crash remains under investigation.
