Automatic Cupcake Machine: A Beverly Hills, Calif., bakery has installed an ATM outside its shop that dispenses cupcakes so that customers can get their frosting-topped sugar fixes when the bakery is closed.
Everything went fine until a drunk walked up at 2 in the morning and, instead of $40 for cab fare, got two lemon coconut and a red velvet.

Gas range and water heater optional: Those looking to beat the high cost of gasoline but not willing to give up their pickups might want to consider a new Ram truck that Chrysler says will run on natural gas.
Chrysler had been working on the natural gas-powered truck for a while but only recently figured out how to keep the pilot light lit above 25 mph.
