Pacifica Chamber Orchestra artistic director Fred Chu said the music for tonight’s Spring Concert are pieces rarely performed in the Northwest.

“This is really exciting music,” Chu said.

Also, this concert’s special treat is guest soloist John Carrington on the harp, who, Chu said, “will take you to fairy land.”

“You will never forget this memorable evening,” Chu said.

The Spring Concert program includes “Little Chamber Music for Wind Quintet” by Hindemith and “St. Paul’s Suite for String Orchestra” by Holst.

Also on the program is Ravel’s “Introduction and Allegro,” for flute, clarinet, harp and string quartet with Carrington performing on the harp. The concert concludes with “Suite for Strings” by Janacek.

Pacifica Chamber’s Spring Concert starts at 7:30 tonight at Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, 4514 84th St. SW, Mukilteo.

Tickets are $15 and $10 for seniors and students. Tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets at www.brownpapertickets.com and at the door.
