Prep softball: Granite Falls 3, Lakewood 1

MARYSVILLE — Peyton Spencer hit a home run and had a hit and scored a run in the Tigers’ two-run sixth inning as Granite Falls beat Lakewood in a Cascade Conference game. Alexa Chase hit a home run in the fifth inning off of Granite Falls’ starter Kimmy Martinez, who went the distance to win her 12th game of the season.
