GRANITE FALLS — A hunt was under way near Granite Falls on Tuesday after a man reportedly fired a gun and ran into the woods.
The commotion started about 11:45 a.m. in the 17800 block of Crooked Mile Road, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
Police believe there was some kind of argument about stolen property. A 51-year-old man allegedly fired multiple shots. No one was injured.
Police cleared people from the area while they searched for the man, using ground teams, police dogs and a helicopter.
The man had not been found by early evening. Additional details were not available.
