GRANITE FALLS — Winter Wirkkala scored twice and Marissa Hutchinson added a goal and an assist to lead Granite Falls to a victory over the Turks in the Cascade Conference opener for both teams.

Goals—Winter Wirkkala (GF) 2, Kelsey Bechtoldt, Marissa Hutchinson. Assists—Hutchinson, Mikayla Engstrom (GF), Wirkkala. Goalkeepers—Sultan: Julianne Tran and Valerie Meischke. Granite Falls: Courtney Young. Records—Sultan 0-1 league, 1-1 overall. Granite Falls 1-0, 2-0.
