In the Thursday’s Herald, the Associated Press article stated that Washington’s Tribal casinos were one of the nations top revenue producing casinos in 2011 where the total Indian casinos take was $ 27.4 billion. Why aren’t our state representatives opening up our state to casino slot machine gambling to benefit education? And while their are at it, let’s legalize prostitution as well since we are already legalizing pot. Think of how much extra money the state could bring in with just these two new added revenues for education. By legalizing prostitution, the police would have more time to pursue other criminal activities instead. The state of Nevada has shown just how profitable gambling and prostitution is so why can’t the state of Washington do likewise and really get some funding for our schools? Wake up Olympia!
