“My Favorite Brunette”: April 4. Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamour bring their screen chemistry to a parody of the hard-boiled thrillers of the day. Hope plays a photographer of babies who is set up for murder and has to solve the case to avoid Death Row. With Lon Chaney, Peter Lorre and Reginald Denny (1947).
“The Second Woman”: April 18. Betsy Drake, playing insurance investigator Ellen Foster, is visiting her aunt in Carmel, Calif. She is drawn to the neighbor, Jeff Cohalon (Robert Young), an architect with a secret. Trouble ensues (1950).

“King of Devil’s Island”: April 14. This true story of the infamous Bastoy Boys Home correctional facility in Norway, begins with the arrival of 17-year-old Erling, a rumored murderer.
