SNOHOMISH — After hanging on for nine innings to beat Marysville Pilchuck Tuesday, Callie Bircher came out and threw a perfect game against the Chargers. Bircher struck out ten in the Wesco 3A crossover win, while the Grizzlies hitters continued to improve, this time scoring 10 runs on 11 hits to end the game in six innings. According to Glacier Peak head coach Caitlin Nies, second basemen Jocelyn Matheny had another good night and contributed to the perfect game. “(Matheny) made a couple nice plays in the seventh inning to secure it.”
